Pick'em Scoring - NBA

Every sport has its particular scoring. For more information on other sports, check out the MISC section on our rules page.

Cumulative projections: Any projection joined by the plus (+) symbol means that that pick is a combination of those stats. 'Points + Rebounds + Assists' for example is the combination of all 3 stats.

Personal fouls: Scored as awarded by NBA officials/scoresheets. Technical fouls do not count toward this stat.

Game High Scorer: Awarded to the player who scores the most points for the entire game across both teams. If multiple players tie for the top score, they will all be graded as the high scorers and paid out accordingly.

Team High Scorer: Awarded to the player that scores the most points for his respective team throughout the entire game. If multiple players tie for the top score, they will all be graded as the high scorers and paid out accordingly.

First 5 Minutes Stats: Specified stat accrued in the first five minutes of the first quarter. Must start to grade.

The following projections are not offered in AZ:

First FG Attempt: Scored as whether the first shot attempt by the specified player results in either a make or a miss. This only relates to the player whose projection is listed and is not scored as the First Overall Basket scored in the game. Free Throw Attempts do not count. If a player does not attempt a field goal in the game, this projection will void.

First 3-Point Attempt follows the same rules as above for 3-point attempts. If a player does not attempt a 3-pointer, then this projection will void.

First to 10+ Points: Scored as the first player in the game to reach 10 or more points scored. If nobody reaches 10 points then the selection will void.
