What happens in the event of a tie (voided) selection?

Updated this week

Voided selections occur for a variety of reasons, such as a player not playing, tying their projection, or being deemed inactive by our rules found here. Voided Picks occur only if a player does not participate in the game at all, is marked 'Did Not Play' (DNP), or ties their specified projection. It's essential to note that picks are voided after the game concludes and only after all stats are reviewed.

In the event of a tied projection, that projection will be voided. If a voided player makes an entry ineligible, the entry fee would be refunded. An example of an ineligible entry is if a two-pick entry has a voided player, or if the remaining players after a voided selection are on the same team. More information on lineup restrictions can be found here.

If a pick is voided and the entry is still valid, the entry will be graded as a Loss if another pick is lost. If a pick is voided and the entry is still valid where all other picks won, the entry will be graded as a Win but will pay out for the number of active players.

For example, for an entry of Ezekiel Elliott (Win), Saquon Barkley (Win), and Christian McCaffrey (Tie/Void), the entry would win, but the payout would be calculated as if the entry was a pick 2 instead of 3.

If an entry is reduced to only one active player, that entry will be voided, and the fee will be refunded. If the entry is reduced to players on one team, that will also result in your entry being voided and the fee being refunded.

Rivals

If you have Player A +3 pts vs. Player B and Player A ends with 18 pts and Player B ends with 21 points, the pick will be graded as a Tie and handled like a Void in any other entry.
