What happens if my player gets injured?

Updated this week

For Pick'em, selections of NBA, MLB, WNBA, NFL, and CFB players are eligible for Rescue.

Pick'em

  • Inactive - If a player is officially inactive, the pick will be graded as a void.

  • Rescue - If a player plays in the first half of the game but does not return in the second half for any reason (injury, ejection, etc.), your entry will be refunded, and you'll be given a special that'll appear in your lobby the next day. This only applies if you chose higher on the player's selection.|

  • Injury - For players that play in the second half in the listed sports above, and for all players and situations in other sports, if your player plays, they will be graded with what they finish the game at.

Battle Royales

  • Inactive - If you select a player who is then marked as inactive after they are drafted but before the contest begins, we will automatically swap in the next highest projected player at that position.

Swap eligible, aka “Inactive” statuses include: Doubtful, Out, Traded, Retired, Suspended. If a player already had this designation prior to being selected, they will not be swap eligible.

  • Injury - If a player you drafted plays and is active in the game, they will not be swap eligible and will count towards your team total as normal.

Best Ball

  • Injury - The players selected for an individual entry will remain the same for the entire season and score at the end of each scoring week, regardless of injury status.
