What is the "Expected Prize" shown at entry?
The “Expected prize” shown prior to entry of your Champions roster is an average based upon past win-rates for rosters with the same number of athletes (2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, or 8) to help entrants estimate what their share of the Champions prize may be. Flexed entries "Expected prize" is also based on previous flexed entries in a Champions pool.
As with any average or estimate, entrants’ actual experience may vary from the average prize. We may periodically adjust how we calculate the “Expected prize” to make the estimate more accurate.
"Difficulty" of Champions Entry
With Champions, users are blended together into singular pools, which shape their potential payouts based on the projected difficulty that they are taking relative to their peers in the pool. Difficulty equates to the number of expected picks you’re getting correct, along with the expected selection win rate for the individual pick itself. Entry fee, Scorchers, and use of Flex play a factor into potential payout!
