What happens if a player or team is disqualified, withdraws, or retires mid-match?
In Tennis prediction market picks, contracts on the player that advances will settle in-the-money, while contracts on a player that is disqualified, withdraws, or retires will settle out-of-the-money. This rule applies regardless of whether the match has begun.
For clarity, if a tennis player is disqualified, withdraws, or retires at any point during a match, the opponent who advances in the tournament is deemed the winner of the match, and the affected player is deemed the loser.
