Fewer rivals: For rivals based on certain statistics, ex. strokes, in which case the player with the lower score is considered to have had a better performance, the player on the side of the rival with the lowest score, accounting for potential rival spreads, will be deemed the winning side.

Leaderboard Position: Graded based on the standings after every golfer has completed the specified round. Any penalties assessed after the round has concluded and graded will not be factored into the outcome of your pick(s). For example, if Rory McIlroy has a R2 Leaderboard Position projection of 7.5 and he finishes in fifth place, people that selected "better" would win those selections.

Finishing Position: Graded based on the standings after every golfer has completed the entire tournament. For example, if Rory McIlroy has a Finishing Position projection of 5.5 and he finishes in fifth place at the tournament's end, people that selected "better" would win those selections.

Any golfer that does not complete their full round, will be graded as void. Any golfers that miss the cut or withdraw will be graded as "Worse" in their finishing position at the end of their final round. Any golfers that are tied for their finishing position, will be graded with the same finishing position. For example, if there are 3 golfers tied for 5th place at the conclusion of a round or tournament, all three would be graded as 5, and the following golfer would be graded as 8.

Penalty Strokes: Any golf shot or infraction that results in an extra stroke(s) added to a golfer's scorecard during their round of play. This includes, but is not limited to, hitting a golf ball into a water hazard or out of bounds, hitting the wrong golf ball, moving the golf ball with the club before the shot, etc.

Any penalties added after the conclusion of the golfer's round (incorrect scorecard or other rule violation) will not be counted.

Partial Game Stats: Stats will be graded based on the hole number on the course, not the hole the golfer starts from. For example, Jordan Spieth's Holes 1-9 Strokes will apply to the amount of strokes played on holes 1-9 on the scorecard and not his first 9 holes regardless of whether he starts on the 1st or 10th tee.

Putts: Putts are tracked as any stroke taken on the green. If a player uses a putter but the ball is not on the green, it will not be counted under this statistic.

Driving Distance: Driving distance is tracked as the total yardage gained on the golfer's first tee shot on the specified hole. If a player hits his first shot 300 yards but it goes in the water and his next tee shot goes 290 yards, the golfer will be credited with 300 yards for that hole's Driving Distance. This stat will be graded from the particular golfer's stat page on the PGA website.

Round completion and player withdrawals

Both golfers in a golf pick'em rivals matchup MUST complete the round for a winner to be determined. If either golfer does not finish the round (due to injury, withdrawal, DQ, or any other reason), the rival will void, and the payout for the entry including the voided pick will adjust based on the number of valid picks in the entry.
