The total number of Champions Points your entry is worth will correlate with the payout you receive from the Champions Pool.
Champions Points are calculated based on three factors: (1) the number of selections you choose; (2) the likelihood of those selections occurring (their difficulty); and (3) your entry fee.
Champions Points are the product of your entry fee and a multiplier, which is awarded based on the difficulty of your selections. For example, a standard $2 entry with a 6x difficulty multiplier = 12 Champions Points. As the difficulty multiplier scales, your expected payout scales.
Payouts are determined by dividing a winning customer’s Champions Points by the total number of winning Champions Points. In a typical Champions contest, the total number of Champions Points earned by winners will generally be 40,000, so that each Champion Point earned will equal $1. Thus, in the example above, a winning entry with 12 Champions Points will generally receive a $12 share of the total Champions Prize.
