Pick'em Scoring - Street League Skateboarding

Updated over a week ago

Every sport has its particular scoring. For more information on other sports, check out the MISC section on our rules page.

If an athlete participates and doesn't finish all attempts, he will still be graded as normal. If an athlete doesn't participate, he will void.

Finishing Position

Participants will be graded in the order of their final score. Any athletes that do not qualify for the final round will be graded in order of their Heat Scores.

Example - if six athletes qualify for the final, the highest scoring athlete that didn't qualify will be graded as 7th. If two athletes tie for the 7th highest score, they'll both be graded as 7th and the next highest score will be graded as 9th.

Heats

Finishing position - participants will be graded in order based on their finishing position against only the other athletes in their heat.

Example - if there are four different heats, the winner of each heat will be graded with a heat finishing position of 1, second place in each heat will have a finishing position of 2 etc.

Scoring - based on the top four scores (only a max of one run score is allowed to be used). An athlete can decide to use all trick scores and no run scores if the trick scores are all higher than both run scores. This will be graded as a total score, not an average score.

Example - if an athlete scores 9.1 and 8.5 on his runs - and 6.5, 7.7, 8.2, 8.1 on his tricks, only the 9.1 will be counted as the run score, and the 7.7, 8.2, and 8.1 as the trick scores. In this case, the 8.5 run score and 6.5 trick score would be excluded.

Tricks Landed

Includes tricks only from the Tricks portion of the specified Heat or Final. Tricks landed during the "Run" portion of the event are not included.
