How Can I Change My Username?
To change your username, you can reach out to us directly by clicking the “Contact Support” button in the app. In order for an account to be eligible to change the username, you must have played through less than $500 worth of contests at the time of the request. After that threshold has been reached, we cannot allow you to change your username.
This policy is in place as a security method and to keep as much transparency within the app and community as possible.
Address Change
In order to update your address on file, please connect with one of our agents. If there is a mismatch between the address on your ID and the address in your Underdog account, you may need to provide additional documentation to verify your account. Proof of Residency establishes that you live at the address associated with your Underdog account.
What Do I Need to Present? Please have a valid copy of your ID or US/Canadian passport present, along with proof of residency.

Examples of accepted proof of residency include:
Utility bills (e.g., electricity, water, or gas bills)
Mortgage or lease agreements
Bank statements
Each document must clearly display your name and the address registered to your Underdog account and should be dated within the last three months. Note: Ensure that the documents are dated within the last 60 days.
How Does the Process Work? Because we must first confirm account ownership before proceeding with any account holder changes, you will be sent a verification link on your mobile device upon requesting an address change. You will need to submit a photo of your ID and a selfie holding up the ID next to your face. Alternatively, you may attach your proof of residency for your new address directly to the support conversation within the platform. Once you've successfully provided the requested information, the support team will review your submission and notify you of the outcome.
How to attach Proof of Residency:
Proof of Residency document can be attached directly to the conversation by clicking the "+" button next to the text box. Supported formats include scanned copies or clear digital images in PDF or JPEG format. If you experience technical difficulties, such as issues with file uploads, consider using a laptop or desktop for better compatibility. As an alternative, Proof of Residency can be emailed to [email protected]
How to Change Your Email
To change or update your current account email address, please follow the steps below:
Locate and tap the Account tab in the bottom right corner of the app
Scroll down and tap the Contact Support button
From here, tap "Send us a message" > "Account Help" > "Change Account Email or Username" > "Change Email Address" > Respond to the Message
Our Customer Support team will respond with instructions for account verification:
You'll need to provide a photo of your government-issued ID
Take a selfie holding the ID next to your face
Ensure all ID details are clearly visible in the photos
Inform the support team of the new email address you'd like to use. Ensure that it is not already associated with another Underdog account.
Once your email address is updated, you will receive a verification email. Click the link in the email to complete the process.
Once the review is complete and verification is successful, your account email will be updated, and you're good to go!
