Prediction Picks (Baseball)

Exchange note: The rules below reflect CDNA-powered accounts (created before March 19, 2026). If your account is Kalshi-powered, refer to the Kalshi Rulebook for baseball-specific settlement rules.

What happens if a game is shortened but deemed official by MLB?

In Baseball Prediction Picks, shortened games do not trigger a Canceled Event if MLB deems the game official. All contracts stand based on the result of the game.

Do extra innings count?

Yes. Extra innings are included for all baseball Prediction Picks.

Available Baseball Team Pick Markets

Baseball team picks are full-game only. The following markets are available:

  • Game Winner: Predict which team wins the game.

  • Run Line (Spread): Predict a team to win by a specified run margin.

  • Total: Predict whether the total combined runs scored will be higher or lower than the listed number.

What happens if a baseball event is postponed, canceled, or not completed?

Postponed (Game Has Not Started)

  • Rescheduled to the same day: If a game is delayed before it begins but is rescheduled to play on the same calendar day, based on the venue’s local time, all contracts will proceed with normal settlement.

  • Rescheduled to a new calendar day: If a game is delayed before it begins and is rescheduled to a new calendar day, based on the venue’s local time, the market will be settled as Event Cancelled.

Suspended (Game Has Started, Then Paused)

  • Resumed within 48 hours: If a game is suspended after it has already started and play resumes within 48 hours of the original start time, all contracts will proceed with normal settlement.

  • Resumed beyond 48 hours: If a game is suspended after it has already started and does not resume within 48 hours of the original start time, the markets associated with the game will be settled as Event Cancelled.

If a baseball event is postponed, canceled, or otherwise not completed within 48 hours of its originally scheduled start, it is treated as a Canceled Event.
