The UD Derby Dinger will be three rounds consisting of individual matchups at a mini field (~70 feet from home to LF and RF). A perforated light-weight plastic ball and a long hollow plastic bat will be used.
The contest is single-game elimination. The first two rounds are 3 minutes, the final round is 2 minutes. There will be an unlimited number of swings until the time runs out and batters will swing for the full time. Batters must wait until the ball lands until they can swing at another pitch.
Stats
Round 1 HRs Hit - Number of HRs hit in Round 1
Round 2 HR Hit - Number of HRs hit in Round 2
Round 3 HRs Hit - Number of HRs hit in Round 3
Important to note - HRs hit during tiebreakers will NOT count towards projections. Additionally, a HR will be a ball that clears the outfield wall on a fly or hits the foul poll on a fly.
Finishing Position
Example - if Jared Carrabis has a finishing projection of 2.5 and he finishes in first place, people that selected "Better" would win those selections because 1 is a better finishing position than 2.5.
