Location Error Troubleshooting

If you're encountering location-related issues, follow these steps to help resolve the problem:

  1. Restart your phone or app: This can refresh your device or the app and fix temporary glitches.

  2. Toggle Airplane Mode: Turn on Airplane Mode for a few seconds, then turn it off. This can help reset your connection.

  3. Try different network connections: Log in with both Wi-Fi and mobile data to see if the issue persists across networks.

  4. Reinstall the app: Delete the app from your device and reinstall it to ensure you're using the latest version.

  5. Ensure that no VPN or other security software is enabled: Underdog prohibits the use of VPN services, and if a VPN is enabled, you will be unable to use our application.

“You have denied us location permissions” (Web)

If you are met with this error, please ensure that your location services are enabled both within your device and the browser you are using.

Below are guidelines on how to enable your location services depending on the device or browser you are using:

Operating System

Windows

  1. Go to Start > Settings > Privacy & Security> Location.

  2. Do one of the following:

    • If you're an administrator on the device, you can use the Location services setting to control whether the location service can be used on this device. If you're not an admin on this device, you will not see this setting.

    • To control location for just your user account, switch the Let apps access your location setting On or Off. If "Location services is off" appears on the settings page, you won't be able to turn on the Let apps access your location setting for an individual user account.
