Do extra time and penalties count?
Unless otherwise stated, all soccer prediction market picks are settled based on 90 minutes of regulation play plus stoppage time. Extra time and penalties are excluded unless specified.
What if a draw/tie is not an available outcome?
If a head-to-head soccer market does not list a draw or tie option, the market is treated as "To Advance." The winner is determined by the team that progresses.
What happens if a soccer event is postponed, cancelled, or not completed?
If a soccer event is postponed, cancelled, or otherwise not completed within 48 hours of its originally scheduled start, it is treated as a Canceled Event.
What is a Canceled Event? If no winner is decided within 48 hours, your payout is based on the market's implied probability at the time β specifically, the average contract price from the week before the cancellation was determined. If you picked Team A, you receive that average price per contract. If you picked Team B, you receive the remainder ($1 minus Team A's payout). Trading fees are refunded.

Do extra time and penalties count?
Kalshi soccer markets include both regulation time and extra time by default, unless the market specifically states otherwise. Penalty shootout goals do not count toward the goal total unless explicitly included in the market.
What if the match is tied?
If both teams are tied at the conclusion of the applicable time period, all spread markets resolve to "No."
What happens if a match is cancelled or abandoned?
If a match is cancelled before kick-off, all markets resolve to the last fair price.
If a match is abandoned before 90 minutes of regulation play (not counting stoppage time), unresolved markets resolve to the last fair price β unless the market's time period had already elapsed or the outcome was already determined.
If a match is suspended and officially scheduled to resume from the point of suspension within 48 hours, markets remain open and settle based on the final result. If it does not resume within 48 hours, markets that can be definitively settled are settled; all others resolve to the last fair price.
If a match is suspended and replayed from the beginning (0-0, minute zero), all markets on the original match resolve to the last fair price.
What happens if a match is delayed?
If a match is delayed by two weeks or less, markets remain open. If delayed more than two weeks, markets resolve to the last fair price.
