Does overtime count?
Overtime counts for all markets.

What happens if a game is postponed, cancelled, or not completed?
If a game is postponed, cancelled, or otherwise not completed within 48 hours of its originally scheduled start with no winner decided, it is treated as a Canceled Event.

What is a Canceled Event? If no winner is decided within 48 hours, your contracts are still settled β€” you won't simply lose your full entry fee. The exchange settles at a price that reflects what the market thought each outcome was worth in the period leading up to the cancellation. In practice, you'll receive somewhere between $0.00 and $1.00 per contract depending on which side you were on. Note on fees: For CDNA-powered accounts, trading fees are refunded on canceled events. For Kalshi-powered accounts, exchange fees are not refunded.

What happens if a game is postponed or cancelled before tip-off?
If a game is cancelled before it begins, all markets resolve to the last fair price as determined by the exchange.

What if a game is abandoned mid-game?
If a game is cancelled or abandoned after it starts and does not resume within 24 hours:

  • If 40 minutes of gameplay have been completed, final score markets settle based on the score at that point.

  • If fewer than 40 minutes have been played, all markets resolve to the last fair price.

What happens if a game is delayed?
If a game is delayed by two weeks or less, markets remain open. If delayed more than two weeks, all markets resolve to the last fair price.
