Account types
Your Predictions account is managed under one of two systems depending on which exchange powers it:
Kalshi-powered accounts — Underdog Predict (UDM, LLC) manages your account as a Futures Commission Merchant (FCM). Underdog holds your funds, issues tax documents, and sends account statements.
CDNA-powered accounts — Your account continues to be managed under the previous system. Crypto.com | CDNA holds your funds and handles tax reporting for your Predictions activity.
You cannot switch between account types.
Account statuses (Kalshi/FCM accounts)
Pending — You've completed Predictions KYC and accepted terms, but haven't yet completed the suitability questionnaire.
Active — Your suitability questionnaire is complete and you're ready to place entries once you have funds in your wallet.
Suitability questionnaire
As part of setting up a regulated Predictions account, you'll be asked questions about your employment, annual income, and trading experience. These are required by regulation and cannot be bypassed. This is a one-time step.
Restricted accounts
If your account has active restrictions, you may still be able to log in and access the app, but only to manage or cash out existing positions. You will not be able to place new entries until the restriction is resolved. Contact support if you have questions about a restriction on your account.
Accepting updated terms
From time to time, you may be asked to accept updated terms or new disclosures before continuing to trade. These updates reflect changes in how Predictions accounts are managed and are required by regulation. They cannot be skipped.
Frequently asked questions
Why do I keep seeing disclosures on entry screens and slips?
You'll see regulatory disclosures throughout the Predictions experience — on entry screens, your slip, and when you cash out. These are required as part of operating as a regulated financial product. We're not able to skip or remove them.
